Personally: Yankees Making Offer to Judge Public, Isn't Good
When the New York Yankees, Hal Steinbrenner and/or Brian Cashman want someone in free agency or on the trading block, they never, ever show their hand. Last week, when Yankees GM Brian Cashman, made it known publicly they made another offer to Aaron Judge , I didn't feel good about that. Not saying the Yankees won't sign Judge because of that, but the Yankees, in past history, when they want a player in free agency or on the trading block, they never make the negotiations go public. You never hear what prospects they're trading for a player nor we ever hear what type of offers they made to a player. The only time negotiations between a player the Yankees wanted was in 2008 when C.C Sabathia was a free agent and the $140 million offer that made to Sabathia was public. Which was something the Yankees did not want. The other time the Yankees made negotiations public was when they were trying to re-sign Derek Jeter.
